What is Downtown Deal$?
The DNA Downtown Deal$ Program is our effort to bring downtown residents to downtown businesses and have both groups benefit from the experience. The concept is simple, the businesses offer something special to members of the WPB Downtown Neighborhood Association. The business determines what to offer, what the conditions are and how long it is available. The DNA will include your offer on our website, members see it and visit your business to accept your offer. The best thing is that there is no cost to the business other than the promotion itself. They are generally offered for a month at a time and they can continue as long as the business wished to participate.
How does a business know that someone is a DNA member?
Every member has a membership card with the year in the upper right hand corner. Just ask to see the card.
What are the Downtown Deal$ Mini-Nights?
Mini-Nights are small promotions that feature our Downtown Deal$ participating businesses. As we have the money available, we designate a restaurant or two to host an event and we send out an email invitation to members just a couple of days in advance. We offer to pay for each member's first use of the host's Downtown Deal to get the event started. There is no program, we just hope to introduce our members to local businesses in a friendly atmosphere. We also try to expand the event by encouraging other businesses, other than the host, to be present, talk with our members and distribute their own information at the same time. Usually 30 to 60 people attend and they always encourage us to do more.
