What is Downtown Deal$?
The DNA Downtown Deal$ Program is our effort to bring downtown residents to downtown businesses and have both groups benefit from the experience. The concept is simple, the businesses offer something special to members of the WPB Downtown Neighborhood Association. The business determines what to offer, what the conditions are and how long it is available. The DNA will include your offer on our website, members see it and visit your business to accept your offer. The best thing is that there is no cost to the business other than the promotion itself. They are generally offered for a month at a time and they can continue as long as the business wished to participate.
How does a business know that someone is a DNA member?
Every member has a membership card with the year in the upper right hand corner. Just ask to see the card.
Many times we get the question regarding whether an event could be held at your establishment with DNA participation?
The DNA tries to support new businesses as they enter the downtown. Unfortunately, we don't have the budget to hold events at every locale, but we try and support every business nonetheless.
If we do have the budget and the board agrees to sponsor a event at your place of business, we will send out an email invitation to our members a couple of days in advance. We usually work something out and feature their specialty good or service, at a rate that allows the establishment to at least break even for the event. The goal is to bring new members and get exposure to the business in efforts to help get the business off to a good start.
